Bulgarian Arsenal Circle 10 | 6X5 / 6H5 AK-74 Bayonet | Black Polymer | Scabbard Description Offered is a Bulgarian Arsenal 6X5 (6H5) pattern AK-74 bayonet featuring the distinctive black polymer handle and scabbard. This pattern represents the later evolution of the Kalashnikov knife-bayonet and was designed primarily for the 5.45x39mm AK-74 family, while also being compatible with appropriately configured 7.62mm AKM-pattern rifles. Bulgarian production of the 6X5 pattern began in approximately 1986. This example was manufactured in Bulgaria by the state arms factory known today as Arsenal J.S. Company. The scabbard bears the characteristic "10" inside a double-circle Arsenal marking, a recognized identifier of Bulgarian Arsenal production. Bulgarian 6X5 examples are documented with this marking molded into both the polymer grip and scabbard. The 6X5 represented a substantial redesign from the earlier 6X4/AKM Type II bayonet. It uses a one-piece molded polymer grip with molded finger grooves, a redesigned spear-point blade, and retains the characteristic blade opening that allows the bayonet and scabbard to function together as a wire cutter.
