When are the auctions?
-The auctions are the 3rd Saturday of the month, April - December starting at 9:30am. 

Can I consign items to the auction?

-Sure!  We accept consignments on a daily basis from the public!  The yard is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9am-5pm and Saturdays 9am- 12noon.  We are closed on Wednesdays (except for auction week).  Auction week hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm.  ALL CONSIGNMENTS MUST BE ON THE YARD BY THURSDAY AT 5PM ON SALE WEEK!

When do I have to have purchased items removed?
-Items purchased at an auction must be removed by the Thursday following the auction.  Pick up hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday from 9am-5pm.  Closed Wednesday.  These hours are set unless it were to be a holiday week, in that case we will post hours holiday hours on the home page. Pick-up hours are always posted on your receipt.

Does it cost anything to register?
-No, registration is free, but you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid state I.D. or drivers license.  Military I.D.'s acceptable and we thank you for your service.

Can I bring my pet to your facility?
-We politely ask that you do not bring any animals into our yard, unless of course they are service animals.  We ask this for everyone's safety. 

Will there be something to eat?
-Of course, on auction day there are food trailers on site!

What if it's snowing or raining on auction day...will the auction still be held?
-Yes, the auction is on rain or shine! 

SELLER INFORMATION

Consignments are accepted Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturdays 9am-12 noon. Auction week consignments are accepted until Thursday at 5pm, or until we reach capacity. Consignments are not accepted on auction day. 


Our commission rate varies based on the sale. Typically for titled items, trailers or large equipment our fees are a flat 15%. Miscellaneous is typically charged 18%. Please call if you'd like to discuss rates.   Consignors are paid via check or automatic deposit about a week after the auction.

Vehicles: A title must accompany a vehicle for it to be placed on the yard to sell. The V.I.N. must be legible and must match the title exactly. Since 1994 ATV’s and off road motor bikes are required to be titled in the State of Ohio.

Trailers: A certified weight slip or registration must accompany a non-titled trailer to be entered into the auction. A weight slip can be obtained by any certified scale in the state of Ohio. Trailers must have a serial number for identification purposes. Trailers weighing 4000lbs or more require a title in the State of Ohio. 

Some items may be price protected (reserved), however there will be a $100 (pre-paid at time of consignment) no sale fee charged on items that do not sell (fee only charged on price reserved items). Items that are reserved must have the owner present during the auction. Boats, cars, light trucks and vans that are ten years old or older and heavy trucks that are twenty years old or older will not be price protected. Equipment we deem to be of less than $1000 in value will not be price protected. We reserve the option to refuse reserves on any item.

BUYER INFORMATION

You may register on site in the office. We require a valid photo I.D. issued by a local, state or federal agency to obtain a buyer number. 

Many items are available to qualified bidders for online bidding. Items can be viewed/purchased through www.Proxibid.com or absentee bidding through our website. 

Parking is available free on the auction grounds. Food and drinks are available on site. 

Payment must be made in full on sale day WITHOUT EXCEPTION. If you can not comply with these terms, please do not bid. We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard,Discover and American Express. A personal or company check will be acceptable. We will debit your account just as it was a debit card. Checks will not be held. Any issues arising will require items to stay on the yard until the check clears which is typically 4-5 business days. Internet buyers please refer to the payment instructions your received with your winning bid email. All items are sold as-is, where-is with no warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied. 

Applicable sales tax will be collected on all transactions unless a valid resale tax exemption certificate has been provided to us. Applicable state tax & title fees will be collected. Temporary tags can be purchased at the time of sale for $18.50. 

Items left on the auction grounds are at your own risk. Edinburg Auction Sales, Inc. is not responsible for your items. We also encourage you not to leave anything outside of our gates at any time for pick up at a later date. 

In most cases we can provide assistance with loading free of charge as a courtesy. We will do this only with the understanding that we will not be held liable for damages which may occur. Loading that requires special equipment or lengthy man hours will be the buyers responsibility.
